Progressive Northern Virginia Delegate Candidate Seeks Field Director

A labor-endorsed environmental activist challenging an incumbent Democrat in a competitive Northern Virginia House of Delegates race seeks a Field Director who can begin immediately and work through the June 11th primary, with the possibility of extended employment through November.

The Field Director will be responsibly for executing a field program to engage voters throughout the district. The district is suburban and diverse.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Revising and implementing field program -Recruiting and training both volunteers and interns -Crafting campaign messaging on the doors and over the phone -Work with community leaders and local groups -Staffing candidate at events -Daily reporting to campaign manager

Ideal candidates will have all or most of the following:

-1 or more cycles of field experience on a political campaign -Strong interpersonal skills -Ability to teach and empower others, experience managing -Previous experience working with VAN -Valid driver’s license and car -Native Spanish speakers or other persons who are fluent in Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply
