Responsibilities
Field Organizers will be responsible for:
Implementing the Field Plan
Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers
Managing and executing voter contact tactics such as:
Representing the Campaign at local Democratic events and meetings
Talking to voters
Operating and maintaining campaign offices
Building relationships with political stakeholders, allied organizations, and local Democratic committees
Other duties as needed
Desired Qualifications and Characteristics
The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, and outgoing. They will possess excellent personal, verbal and written communications skills. They will be a problem-solver, undeterred by obstacles, and look for creative ways to accomplish their goals. They will also have a strong sense of commitment to Democratic principles.
The ideal candidate will understand that this is a demanding position in a fast-paced work environment that will require long hours including nights and weekends. Additionally, the ideal candidate has a sense of humor and can go with the flow.
