ABOUT THIRD SECTOR CAPITAL PARTNERS, INC.
Third Sector leads governments, high-performing nonprofits, and private funders in building evidence-based initiatives that address society’s most persistent challenges. As experts in innovative public-private contracting and financing strategies, Third Sector is an architect and builder of the nation’s most promising Pay for Success (PFS) projects. These projects are rewriting the book on how governments contract for social services: funding programs that work to measurably improve the lives of people most in need while saving taxpayer dollars.
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Boston and San Francisco, Third Sector is supported through philanthropic and government sources, including a grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service’s Social Innovation Fund.
OUR ORGANIZATION AT-A-GLANCE:
ABOUT THE SOCIAL INNOVATION FUND
Third Sector is a proud grantee of the Corporation for National and Community Service's Social Innovation Fund program. The Social Innovation Fund, a key White House initiative, combines public and private resources to grow the impact of innovative, community-based solutions that have compelling evidence of improving the lives of people in low-income communities throughout the United States.
Our goal for this three-year, $1.9 million dollar grant is to accelerate the development of PFS projects across multiple levels of government nationwide and to share lessons learned with a broad community of stakeholders to increase adoption of evidence-based policymaking. To achieve this we will hold an annual competition to select Sub-Recipients – high-performing, high-potential social initiatives – that are positioned to scale with financial and capacity-building support derived from this fund.
ABOUT THE ROLE: SOCIAL INNOVATION FUND DIRECTOR
As the Social Innovation Fund (SIF) Director you will quarterback all aspects of Third Sector’s Innovation Fund Grant, including Sub-Recipient selection through our transparent competition model, federal compliance and reporting, and delivery of services to Sub-Recipients.
