Regional Field Director Role and Responsiblities

 

Recruitment, Hiring and Training

Spearhead volunteer recruitment activities, ensuring that recruitment goals are achieved throughout the duration of the program
Oversight of house party organization, planning, execution, and follow up
Ensuring the successful training and orientation of all canvassers

Coordinate recruitment and scheduling of interns

Provide volunteers with the positive leadership culture
Foster team structure within region and amongst campaign participants

Relay all pertinent on-the-ground information and providing timely reports to Field Director
Ensure volunteers maintain accurate and reliable data
Provide Field Director with daily quantitative and qualitative reports as part of an ongoing evaluation of the program’s success

 

Experience

1-2+ cycles of paid field experience
Proficiency with VAN, NGP, Microsoft Office

Skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
An understanding and appreciation of the urgent nature and time demands of campaigns

Enthusiastic, positive attitude

Willingness to work long hours and weekends
A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and an ability to relocate as needed

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
