About Clean Energy for a Healthy Arizona:

Clean Energy for a Healthy Arizona is a citizens ballot campaign that will increase the amount of our energy that comes from renewable sources like solar and wind to 50 percent by the year 2030. More than any other state, Arizona has enormous potential to generate clean renewable energy from the sun. Our initiative will allow us to finally take advantage of an almost unlimited supply of clean and affordable solar energy.

Description:
The Field Organizer will be based in Arizona. This temporary position will last until the end of the November 2018 election cycle. Field Organizer positions have a $4,000 per month salary.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers

  • Hit defined field goals, including traditional grassroots voter contact, event planning, turnout, plus other goals as assigned

  • Meet all data and field reporting deadlines

  • Speak on behalf of campaign at community events and house parties


Qualifications

  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills

  • Experience and ability to train and empower volunteers

  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment

  • One or more cycles community, issue, labor, or political organizing preferred

    • Experience working on a ballot measure campaign is a plus

  • Fluency in VAN, Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite; other field tools a plus

  • Able to work campaign hours that vary from standard office hours and include nights & weekends

  • Have your own reliable transportation

  • Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred
