Finance Director - Galante for Delegate

Galante for Delegate is seeking a Finance Director to help execute the campaign’s finance plan and manage the campaign budget through 2019. The Finance Director will work closely with the campaign manager to manage and implement call time programs, low and high dollar events both in-district and statewide, low dollar phone program, digital fundraising, and donor prospecting and research. Other core functions may include hiring and managing volunteers and interns, and other administrative duties as required.

This position is based in Northern Virginia.

Desired Skills:

●       At least one cycle in Finance or fundraising experience

●       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and NGP

●       Experience in aspects of campaign finance operations (call time, events, compliance, digital, and low-dollar phone programs)

●       Organized and creative with strong attention to detail and follow through

●       Willing to work long hours, evenings, and weekends

●       Travel as required for events

●       Demonstrated ability to work well with other team members

●       Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

●       Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced campaign environment

●       Have a can-do attitude and a commitment to changing the Commonwealth

●       Virginia ties and/or campaign experience a plus
