JOB: Grants Manager (Boulder, CO) with Western Resource Advocates

Position Summary: Western Resource Advocates (WRA) seeks a collaborative and detail-oriented Grants Manager with strong writing and project management skills to join our Development Team. This position will play a critical role in fundraising efforts, meeting WRA’s annual revenue goals, and maintaining and growing revenue from institutional donors. Under the direction of the Senior Grants Manager, the Grants Manager will assist in developing grant proposals and corresponding reports and other written materials for a portfolio of funders. This position writes, edits, and proofreads proposals and reports and helps coordinate and track cultivation activities related to funders. The Grants Manager works in a lively environment with five highly motivated and passionate teammates.

About WRA:  Founded in 1989, WRA is dedicated to protecting the West’s land, air, and water to ensure that vibrant communities exist in balance with nature. We use law, science, and economics to craft innovative solutions to the most pressing conservation issues in the interior West within three core program areas: Clean Energy, Healthy Rivers and Western Lands.

Location:  The position will be based in WRA’s Boulder, Colorado, office. With the potential option to work out of our Denver office 1-2 days week.

Salary & Benefit:  Salary range for this position is $62,000-$72,000; salary depends on relevant experience and new staff rarely start at the top of the range – most start close to the midpoint of the range.  WRA’s excellent benefits package includes health, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, life & disability insurance, 3 weeks paid vacation leave, sick leave, parental leave, sabbatical leave after five years; and an RTD EcoPass for staff in the Denver/Boulder metro area. Position is full-time exempt.
