Deputy Director of Finance and HR
Full-time, Temporary, Work Remotely with Occasional Travel / Site Visits

You will handle payroll, HR, compliance and bookkeeping so that we can hire more staff and do more good. You should be comfortable fulfilling a variety of roles and responsibilities and be willing to put in the time it takes to get the job done.
Responsibilities
Onboarding employees
Preparing payroll on a weekly basis
Administering health benefits
Creating budget reports for clients
Maintaining federal, state and local registrations
Managing technology and supplies for our offices
Assisting with special projects as needed
Qualifications
One year or more of experience in an HR or financial role required, 2+ preferred
Working knowledge of a range of HR and bookkeeping topics
Experience preparing and running payroll with minimal supervision
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Able to anticipate and quickly solve problems
Willingness to learn and ability to absorb information quickly
Handle sensitive employee and client information with integrity
Nonprofit, political campaign, and/or startup experience preferred
Work long or irregular hours occasionally as projects and staffing require
Term of Position
This position is full-time temporary through December 31, 2018. We may extend the position at that time, subject to need and performance.

Competitive salary, commensurate with experience. Health insurance available.
