About the Organization:
Patients for Affordable Drugs is the only independent national patient organization focused exclusively on achieving policy changes to lower the price of prescription drugs. We do not accept funding from organizations that profit from the development and distribution of prescription drugs. Our organization, founded by a patient with an incurable blood cancer, amplifies the voices of Americans struggling under crushing drug prices to make policymakers and elected officials see the heavy toll of high priced drugs.
Responsibilities:
Patients For Affordable Drugs is seeking a Senior Strategist to manage, grow, and engage our community of patients. This person will be a member of the leadership team and is based in Washington, DC.
We are looking for someone who can engage patients, mobilize people for action, and rally a community of people fighting for change. The Senior Strategist should be interested in health care and have strong community organizing and digital expertise. The ideal candidate will be excited by the prospect of growing with our organization, building a staff of organizers, and using digital tools to organize patients.
This position requires an individual who likes leading and working in a team, can maintain multiple responsibilities and can stay on top of information and tasks in a fast-paced organization.
