Finance Director – Pete for South Bend (South Bend, IN)

The “Pete for South Bend” campaign in South Bend, Indiana, is seeking a full-time finance director to oversee the fundraising and event-planning aspects of Mayor Buttigieg’s 2015 reelection effort. The ideal candidate should have previous fundraising experience and be passionate about local service and political campaigning. 

Duties: 

- Develop finance plan with manager and candidate

- Handle all fundraising efforts and campaign donations

- Plan and execute all fundraising events and meetings

- Staff the candidate for events and manage call time

- Manage campaign finance software and local / state compliance

- Manage fundraising communications with the manager

Requirements: 

- 4-year college degree

- Previous campaign experience

- Experience in a municipal environment a plus, especially near the community or in the Midwest

- Three professional references

- Proficiency with campaign finance software
