Field Director Needed in MI-6

Seeking a Field Director for a competitive Democratic Congressional Campaign in Southwest MI. 

A competitive Democratic Congressional campaign in southwest Michigan is seeking a Field Director. The candidate must be located in, or willing to relocate to the Kalamazoo, MI area for the duration of the campaign. 

Responsibilities: 

- Oversee grassroots campaign to ensure communication through voter contact 

- Develop a comprehensive plan that includes door knocking and phone contact to ID voters and persuade them about the candidate. 

- Coordinate GOTV effort 

Required Qualifications: 

- Proficiency in Google Docs, Microsoft Office tools, and the VAN 

- Highly organized, energetic, and capable of motivating staff and volunteers 

- Ability to manage large quantities of data 

- Flexibility and willingness to travel 

- Must be willing to work long and irregular campaign hours 

- Access to a laptop, cell phone, and a car

 - Previous campaign experience
