NYC Elected Official seeking individual with ability to fluently speak, read and write Korean. Responsibilities will include attending local events with the elected official, representing the elected events, build and continue relationships with local groups, translating documents/news articles, and should be comfortable translating for people when English is not their first language. Candidate should be team player with the ability to take on a variety of tasks. Candidate should have, ability to self start and reach out to community leaders, outgoing and comfortable with public speaking. Preferred if applicant has a NYS driver’s license but not required. Must be permanent resident or US citizen. Position comes with health insurance, paid sick/vacation leave.
