Polished trade association seeks seasoned and professional researcher!

Do you love digging into data, identifying trends, and analyzing causal relationships? Work directly with the Chief Economist of a respected trade association in the heart of DC. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the ability to offer direct support while also handling projects independently.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Conduct in-depth research independently
• Evaluate and devise research methods and procedure
• Present research findings, and occasionally articulate these findings publicly
• Evaluate information to produce sophisticated reports for publication and broader consumption
• Compile information, process research data
• Track prices, supply, demand, and market trends relating to the industry
• Track changes in imports and exports, and economic developments
• Organize data for review and analysis, including producing tables and graphs
• Provide direct support to the Chief Economist
• Respond to requests and questions from association members, staff, and the press

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• Degree in economics or related field
• 3-5 years of research experience in a professional setting
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
