We're going way beyond "petitions" with our real-time Congressional messaging campaigns. We’re helping some amazing causes effect change and gain supporters with our special approach to acquisition and advocacy.
We’re looking for experienced Partnership Managers to help us grow our acquisition service. You’ll be responsible for connecting us with progressive groups that are hungry for new supporters and are ready for a better way to acquire and activate them. If you’ve helped causes develop partnerships and business opportunities in the past (and have the network to show for it), you’ll be a great fit.
As a Partnership Manager, you will:
- Identify and engage with progressive causes, campaigns, companies, etc... that want to gain supporters and can benefit from Civic Shout’s acquisition services
- Talk with partners to fully understand their growth and advocacy challenges
- Articulate how Civic Shout can help solve their problems
- Grow your pipeline, and hit outreach, meeting and quota goals
- Schedule and take part in presentations and demos when appropriate
You have:
- At least several years of experience in the progressive space building successful partnerships and closing deals
- The ability to think broadly and creatively about the kind of organizations that could benefit from Civic Shout and can approach the right contacts
- A large network of great folks that you can tap for intros etc...
- The ability to confidently talk about budgets and overcome objections with senior stakeholders
- The drive and charisma to follow up until you get to a yes or no
- The desire to help progressive causes succeed!
The details:
- This is a 1099 contract position to start. We’re pushing hard to build something truly exciting for the progressive community. So, we’d love for you to join full-time when the time’s right
- Compensation will be based on a percentage of new deals closed
- We’re based in NYC, but you can work remotely. We’ll communicate as needed via Slack, video and phone
