Deputy Field Organizers, Part-Time; California Congressional

[NorCal Campaign]

Sacramento, CA area campaign seeking part-time Deputy Field Organizers to work through November General Election. Near immediate start. 

Deputy Field Organizers (DFO's) will supplement full-time Field Organizers, and the field program in general, by assisting with voter outreach and volunteer mobilization. Responsibilities include

• Canvassing precincts
• Volunteer recruitment and management
• Representing the campaign at community/field events

As the race is highly competitive, DFO's will be exposed to swing-district, "battleground" organizing tactics, and will gain valuable experience in persuading voters and organizing volunteers. 

DFO's are scheduled to work 20 hours per week at a rate of $15/hour. Access to a reliable vehicle, as well as a cell phone, is a requirement for the position. Political experience and foreign languages are a plus but not required.
