Virginia State Senate race seeks Field Organizers

Virginia State Senate campaign is seeking energetic Field Organizers to join our team. Field Organizers will be based in SW Virginia and will report to the Field Director. Supporter housing is available if needed.

Responsibilities Include:


· Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers

· Building and executing volunteer canvasses and phone banks

· Meeting weekly volunteer outreach/recruitment goals

· Meeting daily reporting and data entry goals

· Managing interns

· Attending various events on behalf of the campaign

· Other tasks and responsibilities as required by the campaign 


Qualifications Include:


· One campaign cycle completed (preferred but not necessary)

· Experience in recruiting and training volunteers a plus

· Familiarity with VAN/VoteBuilder (preferred but not necessary)

· Access to reliable transportation, valid driver's license, laptop and cell phone

· Applicant with "people-person" attributes a plus
