The Sierra Club’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Initiative works at the local,
state, and national levels to advocate for incentives and policies that
will make EVs less expensive and more convenient. We also work to
educate the public on the benefits of EVs through widespread public
outreach in a variety of communities, including those disproportionately
exposed to air pollution.
The Sierra Club is looking for an Organizing Representative in NY (Albany or NYC preferred) to work to accelerate passenger EV adoption in New York state in addition to achieving a switch to zero emission transit buses in New York City. Help reduce demand for oil and vehicle pollution by recruiting and engaging volunteers, working with media and cultivating grassroots networks in NY State.
Interested candidates should have at least 3 years experience in grassroots organizing, strategy development, coalition building and media relations in environmental, social justice, political campaigns or related efforts. For all the details, and to apply, click here: http://bit.ly/1hMsWJ9
