Campaign Manager for NH State Senate (Targeted Incumbent)

A top-targeted incumbent state Senator is hiring a campaign manager for the 2020 general election cycle. This race has received the DLCC's Spotlight designation, making it one of the most crucial state legislative races in the country for Democrats to win this year. The campaign manager will serve as the point person between the NHSDC, consultants, and the candidate/campaign and will be charged with handling the day-to-day operations of the campaign (field, fundraising, political, communications) according to the campaign plan.

This is a full-time, paid position based in New Hampshire.

Key duties & responsibilities include:

• further developing and executing our finance plan, including revenue and expense projections
• building, cultivating and managing a volunteer base to execute a comprehensive field program
  
• coordinating the work of the campaign, consultants and other partners
  
• managing the candidate’s schedule to maximize exposure to voters and donors
  
• alongside partners, facilitating a comprehensive communications strategy

The ideal candidate will:

• have prior campaign experience with an emphasis on finance and/or field
• be extremely well organized, professional and punctual
• demonstrate a positive, solutions-oriented attitude at all times
• possess strong oral and written communication skills
• be familiar with Votebuilder, G Suite, Facebook ads, and general social media best practices
• have both a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle

The Campaign Manager should expect a demanding work schedule with long, irregular hours typically including nights and weekends from start date through Election Day. Qualified candidates should be capable of working and exceeding goals and benchmarks in a fast-paced, metrics-driven work environment.
