A local Democratic primary in the DC suburbs is hiring canvassers for June 11th primary. Join an energetic insurgent campaign in a highly competitive race. Campaign office is metro accessible.

Schedule & Hours: Flexible schedule, part- or full-time opportunities depending on availability. Set your own schedule week-to-week.

Pay: Shift pay at $15 an hour.

Responsibilities:

Either independently or with a team:

• Perform door-to-door canvassing
• Communicate with voters and maintain message discipline
• Be punctual and manage own- and canvass-team time
• Maintain and deliver quantitative and qualitative data to campaign leadership
• Must be able to work afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends

Canvassers must have:

• Strong verbal & interpersonal skills
• Access to a working smartphone with data and full charge
• Transportation to campaign office, transportation to canvass neighborhoods will be provided

Opportunities: Work with a national consulting team currently hiring for 2019 general election and 2020 placements nationally.
