Competitive Northeast House Race Seeks Finance Assistant for 2016 cycle

Competitive Northeast House campaign in a top-tier swing district is seeking a full-time Finance Assistant for the 2016 cycle. The Finance Assistant will be an early member of the campaign team from the beginning and will serve as a critical component to ensure the campaign continues to have a successful finance operation. 

The responsibilities will include: conducting in-state and national donor research to help expand the campaign's donor base, organizing and staffing events, helping on call time, managing mailings, and supervising interns. 

The Finance Assistant reports directly to the Finance Director. 

We are looking for a motivated and self-starting individual to join our team. 

Qualifications:

A minimum of 1 year prior campaign experience

·        Experience in campaign finance preferred

·        Ability to multi-task is a must

·        Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills

·        Strong organizational and management skills

Requirements:

·        Strong computer skills: excel & NGP experience preferred 

·        Access to a reliable car and computer

·        Willing to relocate to district for entire cycle
