Rising Tide Interactive is a full-service digital marketing firm based in Washington, D.C. We've helped elect Democrats up and down the ballot, worked with some of the nation's most prominent labor unions and progressive advocacy groups, and raised millions online for our clients. Some of our clients have included Ready for Hillary, Planned Parenthood, the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, the American Heart Association, the USO, and dozens of Democratic U.S. Senate, House, and gubernatorial candidates. We're a team of smart, fun, digital-savvy people who care about electing Democrats and aiding progressive causes.
Our ideal candidate is someone who has a background in ad tech or who has held a digital role in a mission-driven organization like a political campaign, committee, or nonprofit. You should be looking to help manage a team and work directly with clients on the front lines of social and political change.

- At least four years professional experience, including experience writing for email marketing programs, advertising and branding campaigns, or client websites, working directly with account managers and strategists, and managing staff
- Demonstrated commitment to Democratic/progressive candidates/causes, either through professional experience, volunteer work, or clubs/organizations
- Political campaign or committee experience is desired but not required
- Desire to lead a team and develop compelling narratives
- You love the power of words and enjoy finding the precise and intentional language that will drive people to action
We're looking for a creative and flexiable graphic designer with 0-2 years of professional experience who thrives in a fast-pased environment and has interest in digital-first design. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about using design to drive action, and who will notice if something is 5px off-center.
Our ideal candidate is someone who has professional experience in persuasive writing (whether that’s in marketing or another field) and who has a strong interest in and/or experience with political campaigns, committees, or nonprofits. You read digital communications from your favorite progressive candidates and want to learn how to write them.
This internship is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate with a focus in politics, government, marketing, advertising, or communications to learn marketable skills in digital politics. If you’re eager to learn, organized, and creative, you may be the right candidate!
