CAMPAIGN MANAGER POSITION

  

Dorotha Ocker is running for State Representative of Texas House District 115 in Northwest Dallas County. The current representative is a strong Tea Partier who is out of step with our mostly purple district.   We’re seeking a campaign manager to help lead our team to victory.


JOB DESCRIPTION 


The campaign is looking for an organized and enthusiastic campaign manager who can coordinate and oversee all aspects of the campaign. Those responsibilities include:


Coordinate activities of candidate 

Oversee execution of campaign plan, and maintain accountability towards key goals

Manage volunteers and help maintain an efficient, accountable, and fun team culture

Manage campaign budget

Staff candidate during call time, events, and other crucial activities if needed

Draft communication, endorsement, and outreach materials as needed


JOB REQUIREMENTS 


Strong leadership, organization, and writing skills 

Experience overseeing polling, research, and paid media preferred

Communications experience preferred

Must be willing to work long hours, evenings, and weekends

Demonstrated ability to build and motivate a team 

Strong ability to problem-solve and a creative approach to meeting goals

A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle


JOB LOCATION

Carrollton, TX (suburb of Dallas, TX)


COMPENSATION

Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
