End Citizens United’s Mission: To combat Big Money in politics and dismantle our rigged political system by electing campaign finance reform champions and passing state ballot measures. These champions will work toward overturning Citizens United, ending unlimited money in politics, and ending Dark Money. We’ll work towards the mission by: electing pro-reform candidates, raising the issue of money in politics as a national priority, and using grassroots membership to demonstrate political power on the issue of money in politics.
Reports to: Political and Advocacy Assistant
Job Summary: Prospective interns should be highly organized and have a base knowledge of political campaigns. Attention to detail is a must. The political intern will report to the political and advocacy assistant. Responsibilities will include daily campaign tracking, preparing candidate meeting memos, coordinating questionnaire answers, organizing political race/endorsement tracker, completing longer-term district memos, and helping the political department meet their needs. Interns will also assist with ECU administrative responsibilities.
