Email Marketing Manager

Rising Tide Interactive is seeking an email marketing manager with 1-3 years of experience to join our growing email marketing team at our downtown Washington, D.C. office.

We’re looking for an experienced email campaigner who is passionate about politics and the digital media world. We work with some of the premiere campaigns, committees, nonprofits and advocacy organizations in the progressive space, so we need somebody who can translate a client’s vision and goals into a top-flight email program.

Job responsibilities include:

• Serving as the day-to-day contact and strategy lead for multiple email clients, including campaigns, ballot initiatives, campaign committees and nonprofits
  
• Working closely with clients and our in-house email team to develop email strategy, messaging, revenue projections and models; updating as needed based on results
  
• Developing email content concepts and monthly calendars
  
• Editing and drafting email creative and conducting research as necessary
  
• Supervising email production staff and occasionally doing email production
  
• Monitoring email blasts and troubleshooting

What you should have:

• One to three years of relevant digital and/or email marketing experience; Political experience such as one election cycle of digital work at a campaign, party committee, or political action committee, or similar non-profit experience is preferred
  
• Experience interfacing with multiple clients or managing junior staff a plus
  
• Strong knowledge of HTML is a must and CSS is strongly preferred. Graphic design experience and proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator a plus
  
• Strong analytical skills
  
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, frequently under tight deadlines
  
• Attention to detail
  
• Excellent editing and writing skills
  
• Demonstrated commitment to Democratic candidates and causes
