Position: Field Organizer

Overview:
Base Builder is seeking field organizers to increase visibility on progressive issues and elect
progressive candidates in key districts who will fight for the environment, labor, and tackle
the role of big money in politics in Minnesota through direct voter contact.

Base Builder's primary mission is to develop tailored field organizing teams to strengthen
progressive organizations and coalitions across the country. Through quality one-on- one
conversations with community members we perform membership building, donor
cultivation, and targeted election work. Base Builder offers knowledge and experience from
industry-leading professionals with backgrounds in non-profit management, political
advocacy, and government relations.

Job Description:
Field organizers are responsible for organizing and activating voter participation and
turnout through quality conversations; building support for top progressive candidates
in state and local elections; and connecting values to the polls come Election Day. Our team
will be engaging in meaningful one-on- one conversations with undecided voters.
Candidates should have the ability to work long hours as needed including evenings and
weekends beyond a typical work schedule. Opportunities exist for both expert campaigners
and those looking to gain experience in politics.

Qualifications:
- Commitment to progressive political issues
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management skills and attention to detail are a necessity
- Accurate data acquisition 
- Ability to read a map 
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks, solve problems, and set priorities in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time 
- Flexibility and a sense of humor 

Compensation:
