Paid Canvasser positions

Competitive State Senate race searching for paid canvassers to engage in targeted voter contact. Applicants should possess effective communication skills and be comfortable with face-to-face interaction with voters. Experience using the VAN is a plus.

Responsibilities will include:

·         Aiding Field Organizers and the Field Director in meeting voter contact goals by running canvass shifts and phone banks

·         Helping to train and manage volunteers

·         Data entry into the VAN

 

Canvassers will work with seasoned professional campaign staff. Candidates should be available for 20 hours a week, especially nights and weekends, and should have access to reliable transportation. These positions will last through the Democratic primary on March 15.
