GRASSROOTS VICE-PRESIDENT
RESPONSIBILITIES:
270 Strategies was born of the basic belief that grassroots campaigns can change the world. We named our firm “270” for the number of electoral votes required to win the presidency. Our team used grassroots organizing to achieve our strategic goals on both historic Obama campaigns – and we help our clients do the same. We’re looking for a Vice President to join our growing team of strategists working to help organizations build winning grassroots campaigns. The ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience, an eye for detail, and a deep-seated belief in the power of grassroots organizing.
The Vice-President will be responsible for developing innovative, integrated campaign strategies and lead teams dedicated to specific client initiatives. Applicants should have strong leadership experience, excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks, as well as demonstrate strong judgment and ability to work independently. Responsibilities will include serving as the primary point of contact for key clients; crafting and executing coordinated organizational, digital, and media-based strategies for clients; determining and analyzing on key metrics for clients; and managing multiple client teams of several staff. Qualified candidates must be comfortable engaging with constituents ranging from grassroots volunteers to high-level public officials.
This position will be based in Chicago, IL and requires some travel.
