New national organization launching in 2020 seeks a clever social media wizard(s) to manage our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Linkedin engagement. We’re working on a start-up organization launching in early 2020 that will be a resource and virtual meeting place for progressive talent, campaigns, and organizations all across the country.


We're looking to add to our start-up team creative or creatives individuals to help build our site content before launch, plan our communications before, during, and after launch - and possibly turn this into a full time or long term gig.


We are building a professional home for a mission-driven community of creative change-makers, progressive professionals, Democratic candidates, campaigns & consultants, ideologically left advocacy nonprofits, socially conscious businesses, Democracy activists, advocates, artists, influencers, donors and investors, disrupters, resisters & persisters.


We will provide a place for networking & marketing, directories, a marketplace, professional development, intelligence, creative content and stories about our people and work and a celebratory community for us all.


Work to connect progressive people, campaigns and organizations

Are offering a contract that could lead to a full-time gig

Are looking for at least one person but could divide the duties into 2-3 smaller contracts

Want someone to start yesterday... Or just after the New Year.

We’re developing a community and networking site for the community of people working to take back our country in 2020 and beyond. We’ll have a job/gig board, marketplace & directories of products, services, and resources for Democratic Campaigns and Progressive issue organizations, as well as a directory of nonprofit advocacy organizations, and campaigns - and much more.


Requirements

Interested applicants should:


Care about Democratic and progressive politics and issues

Creative writing skills

Have proven digital management skills

Are a regular user of Twitter, FB, IG, and LinkedIn

Must use google apps

Have some graphics skills to create memes and other shareable content (will have access to graphic designers when needed). Ideally know canva and/or other graphic designs tools

Understand the Democratic & Progressive ecosystem of political campaigns and advocacy organizations

Location: Remote but ideally DC or Boston.
