Type:                    Full-Time beginning on July 1st; Salary based on experience

Description / Duties:

 

Midwest Congressional campaign is seeking an Engagement Director who is a driven, self-motivated individual. This position will manage the campaign’s engagement department. The candidate will also be instrumental in working with the campaign manager to develop and implement a community engagement and direct voter contact program throughout the district. This position will report to Campaign Manager.

 

Duties:

 

·        Develop and implement a direct voter contact plan for both persuasion and turnout universes.

·        Be responsible for the campaign’s internship and fellowship programs and working with other departments to ensure those in the program are receiving a well-rounded experience during their time with the campaign.

·        Develop and implement a plan to train Engagement Department staff and volunteers.

·        Management of community engagement activities including listening tours, roundtables, and community events and activities.

·        Management of visibility strategies such as participation in parades and county fairs.

·        Be responsible for analyzing data collected through constituency contact programs and will have authority to reallocate resources as needed to reach monthly, weekly, and daily goals.

·        Be responsible for daily and weekly reporting to the candidate and campaign manager.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

·        Previous campaign field/organizing experience (at least two cycles).

·        Possess strong communication and organizational skills.

·        Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and thrives in an independent environment.

·        Previous staff, intern, and volunteer management experience.

·        Has reliable transportation.
