Jones Mandel, a Democratic research firm, is seeking to fill research positions in our office in Alexandria, VA. Researchers will gain valuable experience working for political campaigns and issue-based groups – assessing the strengths and weaknesses of our own candidates as well as identifying the vulnerabilities of opponents. Our clients range from candidates for U.S. Senate to statewide offices such as Governor and Attorney General.

 

We are seeking researchers of all experience levels – from entry-level associates to researchers with 2-4 cycles of experience.

 

Qualifications include:

-       Demonstrated political instincts and interest in politics and campaigns

-       Strong writing skills

-       Attention to detail

-       Commitment to helping elect Democratic candidates

-       Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

 

Compensation includes health care benefits, cell phone stipend, commuting stipend, and a 401(k). Our office is Metro-accessible.
