Field Organizer

Field Strategies, a progressive voter contact firm located in Washington, D.C., is seeking Field Organizer for the 2016 election cycle. 

Responsibilities may include:

• Recruiting and training prospective canvassers
  
• Managing data entry and accountability staff and programs
• Maintaining target universes and preparing daily canvassing turf in VAN
• Liaising with community leaders, clergy and progressive coalitions
• Producing daily reports quantifying canvass results
  

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications :

• Self-motivation and commitment to progressive causes
• Willingness to relocate (travel and accommodations will be provided)
• Excellent personal, verbal, and written communication skills
  
• Ability to work quickly and cooperatively under pressure and meet deadlines
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  
• Willingness to work campaign hours
