Finance Director for VA State Senate Race
Description
/ Duties:
The Finance Director will develop a finance
plan, implement and manage a call time program with the candidate, plan and
execute low and high dollar events, and manage donor prospecting and research.
The Finance Director will oversee online fundraising, email, and direct mail
programs. The Finance Director will also be responsible for tracking and
reporting all contributions and disbursements to the state board of elections.
Desired
Experience:
Candidates must have at least one cycle as a
Finance Director or two cycles as a Deputy Finance Director or Finance Assistant
or similar role. Knowledge and
experience with Microsoft Excel & NGP is greatly preferred. Ideal candidates will have experience
in all aspects of campaign finance operations including call time, events,
mail, online, phone, budget management, and compliance. Applicant should have
access to a laptop, reliable transportation, and a valid driver's license.
*This position will not be based in DC.
