Deputy Finance Director
Cooper for North Carolina is searching for a Deputy Finance Director to join our
2020 campaign. The Deputy Finance Director will be responsible for scheduling,
building, and staffing fundraising events throughout North Carolina, and will be
expected to meet and exceed aggressive fundraising goals by optimizing candidate
and staff time. The Deputy Finance Director will assist in overseeing all NC events
and the call time program, and supervise and train staff. This position will work
closely with and reports directly to the Finance Director.
Qualifications:
• At least two cycle of campaign fundraising experience
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Experience building campaign fundraisers from start to finish
• Experience staffing call time or building a call time program
• Experience managing staff and/or interns
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, ActBlue, and NGP
• Must be able to excel in a fast paced environment
