Alameda County Canvasser - $15.75 / hour and make a difference!

An Oakland campaign is seeking enthusiastic canvassers to help elect a public education champion in an exciting Alameda County Board of Education race. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants experience on campaigns during a major election year!

When is it: April 30th, 2016 - June 7th, 2016.

What is it: Hours are flexible and available Tuesday - Sunday 11 am - 8pm, at least $15.75/hour.

Responsibilities:

• Gathering support for an Alameda County School Board candidate in the upcoming June 7th primary

• Maintaining a positive and welcoming attitude!

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Personable and energetic team player

• Passionate for social change and education reform

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must speak English fluently, Spanish is a plus

• Must commit to at least 15 hours a week

• Reliable transportation required

• Experience in a customer service oriented role or campaigns preferred but not required

• Physical requirements include the ability to work outdoors for multiple hours at a time
