Finance Associate - Small Democratic Fundraising Firm (Washington, DC)

A small Democratic fundraising firm is seeking a Finance Associate.  The title, salary and responsibilities will be based on experience. Eckert & Associates is a small and personalized fundraising firm that represents both incumbent Members of Congress, Congressional candidates and other Democratic candidates. You will have the opportunity to work with Members of Congress and candidates to assist them in their fundraising efforts.  You will work closely with the principal and the clients of this small firm.  

 

Position will include but not limited to:

●      Responsible for maintenance of all financial records for clients and the firm.

●      Donor Research

●      Call Time Staffing, Preparation and Follow Up

●      Event Planning

●      Support the Finance Director and Principal of the firm

●      Coordination with client compliance teams

●      Coordination of event notifications

 

Candidates should have the following strengths/qualifications:

●      1-2 years or more of fundraising/campaign or similar experience.

●      Organized & Detail Oriented

●      Motivated Self Starter

●      Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment

●      Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines

●      Knowledge of NGP

●      Prior campaign experience is a plus
