County Wide Race in NY hiring a Paid Canvass Director

A competitive County wide race in Nassau County, NY is seeking a Paid Canvass Director to oversee a large and quickly growing paid canvass operation.

As a Paid Canvass Director your responsibilities would include (but of course aren’t limited to!):

• Implement recruitment strategies for a constantly growing program
• Train and monitor the progress of new canvassers
• Continuously train, progress and potentially promote existing canvassers
•  Directly manage daily responsibilities: data, schedules, payroll ect

Qualifications:

• Canvassing experience
• 1-2 Cycles of experience on political campaigns preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Must be detail-oriented, organized and computer literate
• Willing to work long hours and weekends until November
• Be able to work independently
