Job Description - Statewide Organizer

 

We are looking for excellent organizer candidates to help organize, train, and mobilize supporters of home sharing in cities around the country. You will be joining an amazing team of dedicated organizers throughout the East Coast and help shape this exciting new program.

 

Responsibilities:

●       Recruiting, training, and managing advocates of home sharing into self sustaining grassroots teams

●       Building a network of supporters and advocates in the local business community

●       Organizing events such as host meetings or other community outreach events.

 

Desired Qualities and Qualifications:

●       Willingness to travel

●       1-3 cycles of relevant campaign experience

●       Driven to surpass program goals

●       Proven record of using community organizing in political campaign, non-profit, or other relevant settings.

●       Personable and able to connect with people in groups and in one on one settings.

●       Comfort with technology and using data to make decisions

●       Excellent written and verbal communication

●       Meticulous organization skills

●       A strong passion for home sharing and the sharing economy
