Democratic Baltimore campaign seeking Deputy Field Directors for short-term race.
Responsibilities:
Writing, and executing a data-driven field plan and program focused on utilizing teams of volunteers
Hire, train and manage a field team to execute field plan
Mentoring interns and volunteers
Develop, meet and exceed benchmarks for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots engagement, and GOTV
Working with the campaign manager and consulting team to see that campaign strategy merges well with the field plan
Motivate and hold staff accountable while creating a positive work environment
Qualifications:
Experience at the Regional Field Director level or higher
One cycle staff management experience
Top-level back-end and administrative proficiency with VAN/VoteBuilder
Demonstrated experience in developing and standardizing best practices for data management using the VAN
Experience with Excel
Car and valid driver's license preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work long hours including nights and weekends
