Campaign Manager for Election in New York City

Passing along this announcement about a campaign manager job opening! Seeking experienced campaign manager for progressive candidate in New York City. This six-month position starting approximately March 15 and continuing through September 2016.

Campaign Manager will: Oversee all parts of the campaign including field, finance, events, press, website, and social media.
Develop and execute campaign plan over the course of a six month campaign.
Organize team to implement field plan that involves recruiting, training and managing volunteers for canvassing, and phone banking.
Work with candidate and team on political messaging and strategy.
Motivate candidate and other team members to fulfill necessary tasks.
Function well in collaborative and team-oriented work environments, often in high-stress situations.

Be a strong supporter of progressive policies and belief in the power of government to help people.
Have experience of at least 2 elections in a staff position of significant responsibility on a competitive local/state election campaign.
Experience in New York politics is a plus, but not required. Cantonese, Mandarin and/or Spanish language skills a plus but not required.
