JOB: Sr. Organizing Representative (SIERRA CLUB: MISSOULA, MT)

Sierra Club is looking for an Sr. Organizing Representative to build grassroots power for our Beyond Coal campaign by leading the implementation of organizing campaigns that will increase the number of people involved, leaders trained, and engagement of people with influence to achieve our ambitious goals. This individual will play a critical role planning, organizing, and coordinating the activities of staff and volunteers in order to carry out the organizing priorities of the campaign in Missoula, MT. S/he will also be responsible for identifying and developing volunteer leaders, as well as working to build and solidify partnerships with allied organizations. The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS in Env. Studies, PoliSci or a closely related field; 3+ exp. as a Field Organizer, or in a comparable position in another organization which includes substantial experience planning and managing grassroots conservation campaign.
