Florida Youth Vote Director- Top Targeted Statewide Campaign
Top tier statewide campaign in Florida is seeking full-time Youth Vote Director for an aggressive organizing and paid canvassing program. Youth Vote Director will be responsible for executing the statewide field plan.
Florida is a battleground state, with top target campaigns for Democrats nationally and statewide. Our goal will be to provide a robust field operation in the state of Florida.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for building a robust statewide youth organizing program in the country's largest battleground state with over 20 universities and 3 of the largest campuses in the nation.
- Will manage campus organizers and oversee extensive internship program.
- Must have 1-3 years of organizing experience.
- Ensuring that daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met and exceeded.
- Ensuring that all required reporting is accurate and timely and that all regional data is entered on time.
- Representing the campaign at community events and meetings when advised by the campaign.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Basic computer literacy, database skills, and access to a reliable portable computer.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours in a fast paced, metrics driven work environment.
- Must have reliable access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure while handling multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and in team settings.
- Strong coaching skills and abilities.
- Winning Mentality
- Bilingual experience is a plus, but not required.
