Top Targeted FL State Senate Race Hiring Finance Staffer

With recent redistricting changing a number of seats, the Florida State Senate will be one of the most competitive and big budget legislative chambers in the country in 2016.

 

A top targeted race in Northern Florida will be seeking a full-time finance staffer (finance director or finance assistant, based on experience).

 

This will be equivalent to a congressional race. Candidate has large donor network and strong fundraising ability.

 

 

This is a great way to expand your network and build your skill set.

 

Successful applicants will have experience and knowledge:

-        Donor research and managing NGP

-        Establishing and meeting fundraising goals

-        Running a call time program, including prospecting and follow up

-        writing and executing an aggressive campaign fundraising plan

-        Working with candidate, campaign manager, finance consultant and Senate Victory

-        Coordinating with a campaign treasurer and compliance personnel

-        Building and executing events locally and around the state

-        Experience with online and direct mail fundraising

-        Managing staff and interns and working effectively with co-workers

 

Successful applicants will be prepared to work campaign hours and have patience, strong organization skills and communication skills.
