Wanted: Full-Time Marketing Assistant for the 2016 Election Cycle


RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Assist with internal scheduling, setting appointments and meetings, and managing the president’s daily schedule.
  • Organize and research sales prospects
  • Provide follow up on proposals, research and internal scheduling
  • Help with content creation, along with social media promotion, analyzing metrics and using SEO tools like Hubspot.
  • Work to edit, schedule, and post content and assist with content organization and management.
  • Execution of client research projects, reports and memos at the behest of account managers.
  • Various administrative duties, including, ordering office supplies, compiling the morning meeting checklist, direct mail sample distribution and mail/FedEx organization.
  • Assist with copy-writing both mail and digital creative and proofreading finalized creative.
  • Greet office visitors and answer the phone.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

  •          Bachelor’s degree is requiresd
  •       Must be detail oriented and incredibly organized
  •       Proactive and a motivated self-starter
  •       Prior office experience and working knowledge of Macs
  •       Experience using Drupal and Hubspot and other CMS/CRMs are a plus
  •       Fundraising, call-time or scheduling experience preferred
  •       Marketing or sales experience preferred
  •       A strong interest in and commitment to progressive politics are a must
