Field Organizers wanted for primary race in Northern Virginia

A competitive primary race in Northern Virginia is looking for highly motivated, hard-working field organizers to join our field team.

Field organizers will be responsible for recruiting, managing, and training volunteers. They will implement the field plan by using voter contact tools such as phone banking, canvassing, and visibility events. Ideal candidates will have strong self-discipline, a sense of humor, and be willing to work long campaign hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to organize their communities
  
• Hosting and managing voter contact events, namely phone banks and canvasses
  
• Exceptional organization skills
  
• Have the ability and drive to meet strict deadlines
  
• Organize turf based on unique characteristics
  
• Identify and cultivate volunteer leadership and community leaders
  
• Timely and accurate data reporting
  

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must have a car, laptop, and cell phone
  
• Previous campaign experience (volunteer or paid staffer) preferred, but not required
  
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  
• Positive, can-do attitude
  
• Ability to work as a part of a team
  
• Knowledge of VAN, Google Docs, and Microsoft Office
  
• High energy, enthusiastic, outgoing
  
• Attention to detail
