New York City Council Member from Brooklyn seeks an energetic and compassionate community liaison to help constituents solve their problems. The liaison will join a robust district office staff that intakes large numbers of constituent cases, by phone and in person, and works with local, state and federal government agencies to secure public benefits and address community concerns. This individual will work as part of the constituent services team, responding, tracking, and solving constituent requests from initial contact to resolution. The liaison will also represent the office at community meetings and public events. Some evening and weekend availability is essential. A driver's license is preferred.
