Bernie Sanders for President is seeking talented data staff to serve as Regional Data Director. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.

SUMMARY:

The Regional Data Director will serve a key role in ensuring that staff and volunteers working to support the Bernie Sanders 2016 campaign are trained in the tools they need to support the campaign and that they have access to data analysis and support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Provide VAN support to State Directors and state Field Directors
• Provide strategic data analysis to state staff
• Training staff and volunteers to use and train others to use VAN for voter contact
• Support reporting and data needs of state directors and state data staff
• Assess data needs of program and make timely recommendations to program and data staff

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least two cycles of campaign experience
• Demonstrated expertise in VAN administration
• Technical training experience; VAN preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Excel or similar applications
• Strong communication skills and presentation skills, including technical communication
• Strong time management skills

USEFUL SKILLS:

• Familiarity with digital organizing techniques
• SQL or other query language
• API development experience
• Familiarity with GIS
• Experience running conference calls and webinars
• Deploying reporting tools for volunteer mobilization and voter contact
