Campaign Manager, County-wide (NYC) - Hiring Immediately through June 30

New York City – area county-wide Democratic Primary campaign is hiring a Campaign Manager to assist in the development of the campaign plan and strategy, and to run the day-to-day operations of the campaign.  This campaign will be won on the ground, by building a movement based on progressive ideals and engaging the community in that movement.  The Campaign Manager will be a primary face and voice of the campaign.

A successful candidate will be creative, collaborative, goal-oriented, problem-solving, and self-assessing.  They will be highly organized, analytical, and a skilled communicator.

Responsibilities

• ·         Build and manage a volunteer-based field program
• ·         Draft and update campaign materials
• ·         Staff and manage the candidate
• ·         Manage and bottom-line the campaign team
• ·         Goal setting and daily reports of progress to goal
• ·         Ongoing campaign strategy and development

Experience and Requirements

• ·         Campaign or organizing experience required
• ·         Mastery of campaign data systems, office programs, and social media required
• ·         Supervisory experience helpful
• ·         Foreign language helpful
