Sage Media Planning & Placement is seeking
smart, organized, and personable individuals for the campaign season (through November
2018) for Assistant Media Buying Strategist positions in our Washington DC
office. We are a Democratic firm with decades of expertise at all levels of
political campaigns, from small mayoral races to national Super PACs.
The Assistant Media Buying Strategist will perform a wide range of media
planning strategy and placement duties for our political candidate, issue and advocacy
clients, including:
· Analyze polling and targeting data to formulate paid media strategy.
· Utilize media buying software and qualitative analysis tools to develop and implement political media buys for television, cable, radio, and digital campaigns.
· Gather and organize cost and rating information from media outlets, station sales representatives, and subscriber databases.
· Create and execute media budgets and coordinate payment to media outlets.
· Deliver ad creative and verify traffic directives.
Political, campaign, or legislative experience is required, with prior campaign
finance, compliance, and/or digital advertising experience an advantage. Knowledge
of television programs & pop culture is a plus. College degree required, along
with excellent references.
Attention to numeric detail and organization is a MUST, as is strong
follow-through. Must have proven proficiency with spreadsheet (MS Excel) and
word processing software, as well as internet research resources. The ideal
candidate possesses outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
thrives in an energetic, stimulating, and team-oriented environment; and is
passionate about Democratic victories in 2018.
