Campaign Manager for Midwest Congressional Race

A Congressional race in a competitive, Midwest district is seeking a self-starter who will serve as Campaign Manager.


The position will involve planning and executing all aspects of the campaign including the budget, managing the candidate and campaign staff, formulating the media plan, and driving the field operation and petition gathering effort, as well as finding opportunities for earned media and assistance with the fundraising operation. All of this will be done with the assistance of and in consultation with the consultant team, to whom the Campaign Manager will be responsible for regular reporting.

 

Qualifications:

·       2 cycles of experience working on campaigns with at least 1 cycle of political fundraising experience preferred – experience working on a Congressional campaign is big plus

·       Experience managing a campaign staff and candidate

·       Experience staffing call time, event organizing, and donor relationship maintenance, including proficiency with NGP

·       Demonstrated success in organizing, and executing successful field operations, including creating a targeted voter universe

·       Proficient campaign computer skills, including using social media, Microsoft Word and Excel, and VAN

·
