National Campaign Organizer - Challenge Corporate Control of Water

Calling all progressive organizers!

 

Our campaign challenging the corporate control of water is expanding!  We are looking for a National Campaign Organizer to join our high impact team in building power to protect water public water access in threatened communities across the country.

 

The National Campaign Organizer will organize public officials and allies across the country to uphold the human right to water and ensure a strong commitment to public water systems by standing up to attempts from water privateers like Veolia and Nestlé. The National Campaign Organizer will recruit and train new activists; reach out to and build relationships with allies including community and faith-based groups, public officials, and thought leaders; coordinate trainings and events across the country; and act as a campaign spokesperson for the media. 


We’re looking for candidates with at least one year of organizing experience with strong communications skills and a passion for human rights.  Experience organizing in low-income communities and communities of color is a major plus.
